Major events of the session: {2dn through 5th days of the campaign.}

On the morning of the 24th day of the month of Quinadahn the party leaves the Merchant's Guild and travel to Vahldon's Smithy to upgrade some gear, then they returned to the Merchant's Guild to see if anyone had opened the office of the Merchant Guard. Along the way, they observe familiar and unfriendly faces watching them from various alleys.

After leaving the still-locked office of the Merchant Guard, Erg spots a couple of the watchers and runs after them down an alley. The others run after her … and they all find themselves trapped in a dead-end alley, as several more beafy thugs emerge from the buildings adjacent to the alley blocking their exit.

A loose sewer grate at the back of the alley provides an escape route for the adventurers. They drop down into the sewers, suffering only a few minor injuries. The thugs above can be heard arguing about whether or not they should pursue the party into the sewers. Meanwhile, three giant rats (two adult and one juvenile) come scampering out of the darkness and attack the party.
[XP: 125/PC]

Behind the giant rats come three wererats. Apparently unsure of an easy kill, they approach hesitantly. Then from behind them comes a giant scorpion. Caught between two deadly foes, the wererats decide to climb the rope the party had used to descend into the sewers. One of the three wererats fails to make the jump up to the end of the rope and become a meal for the giant scorpion. The other two disappear … somewhere.

While looking for a way to exit the sewers, the party comes upon a monstrously huge, three-headed dog. Remembering a post regarding a lost puppy and acting on a hunch, Dax called out "Peaches" and the giant beast responded to the name. The party ties an end of rope to the collar the middle head was wearing and take the enourmous creature with them. As they walk through the sewers, the only other creatures seen were running away. Apparently Peaches had established a well-deserved reputation among the inhabitants of the sewers.

Walking an enormous, three-headed dog through the streets of Ashtakahr drew some unwelcome attention to the adventurers as an ever-growing crowd of city guardsmen followed them at some distance — close enough to keep them in sight, but not close enough to get in the way of Peaches.

Sara's father did not seem happy about Peaches' return, though Sara herself was overjoyed. Peaches and Sara ran to each other and Peaches exhibited great tenderness toward the young girl. Sara's father, Vincent, grudgingly paid the reward for the return of the lost pet.
[XP: 100/PC]

With the city guard undecided about whether or not to arrest the party for walking a dangerous animal through the streets of Ashtakahr without proper restraints and controls, the party returned to the Inn to rest and recover from the day's trials.

On the 26th day of Quinadahn, after resting for two days, the troup decides to take on another arena challenge. As they entered the arena a shadow passed overhead and the air chilled, then then colossal form of Xoxenphetapothylis; the Great White Dragon himself, descended from the sky. Making one of his rare public appearences, Xox landed in the middle of the arena, crushing the opponents the adventurers were supposed to fight. Once Xox was satisfied with the level of panic his appearance had caused, he flew off to the north.

When the arena returned to normal the party once again stepped out to battle four new opponents. Upon defeating their opponents, they collected their prize money and returned to the Inn to rest another couple days of rest and recovery.
[XP: 300 for Dax, Forest and Erg]

The adventure suspended in the early morning of the 28th day of Quinadahn.

A much more detailed depiction of the events described here can be found in Forest's Journal.
