Gaming commences on the 5th day of Rhombidderahn.

Shortly after leaving the dead blue dragon, the party crossed paths with a pack of beasts that were a little bit beefier than your average wolf. They attacked the party and two of the eight were killed, and the rest ran off, but not far off. [XP for all living PCs, depending on level, posted above. L1—L4: xxx; L5: xxx] They kept the party in sight and paced them at a safe distance. After a couple of days of this the group got clever and cast Mass Invisibility and Silence on themselves, then cast Mass Fly and flew away invisibly and silently until they were about a mile away and the spells wore off.

Seven days of travel brought them to a dead tree under which was a very friendly and helpful elf who consideratly resurrected Vindahr [Vindahr loses a level and resets to 6000 XP.] and gave the party his Ring of Resurrection and two Amulets of Presservation saying, "I think you need these more than I do."
(Gee, who was that nice man, anyway?)

After leaving Solanth... I mean the friendly elf, the party decided to head across country rather than approach the Ashtakahr river, since it was evident that dragons were patrolling the river, very probably in search of the party. On their 3rd day of travel in a northeasterly direction the party hears the sound of many marching feet. Tomber cast invisibility on Keldorn and Keldorn snuck up to the top of a rise and observed about 500 soldiers marching east to west along a road. The soldiers looked like overly muscled orcs with green, scaly skin. Floating in the air in front of the soldiers was a spherical creature whose body was mostly a single, large eye under which was a large, toothy mouth and from its head were many serpentine stalks with a single smaller eye on their ends. Behind the floating eyeball were two very tall, hooded figures that looked very much like something the party has seen before.

When Keldorn reported to the rest of the party what he saw, Tomber cast Mass Invisibility on everyone and everybody held their breath and waited for the soldiers to pass by.

After they got past this they came across a small village that made its livelihood by extracting ore from a nearby mine. About a week earlier, all the men failed to return from the mine leaving only women in the village. (This amused Throm and Alabaster. Several unrepeatable jokes were made at this point.) One of the women led the party to the mine. They camped in front of the mine on the night of the 15th day of Rhombidderahn and entered the mine in the morning. After traveling deep into the mine they found that the miners had dug their way into a natural cavern and into the subterranean operations of Minotaurs. The Minotaurs had captured the miners and were using them as slave labor for their own mining operations. The party fought five Minotaurs and killed four of them. [XP, depending on level, posted above. L1—L3: xxx; L4: xxx; L5: xxx] The 5th minotaur escaped down a side tunnel.

The party healed up and play suspended at this point. Next session will resume at this point.

Gaming concluded on the 16th day of Rhombidderahn.
